Start with function
Track what the animal can comfortably do: movement, stairs or jumping, play, sleep, appetite, grooming, interaction and elimination. A change in function is a reason to investigate, not a number to hide inside a biological-age score.
Separate foundations from experiments
Healthy body condition and structured preventive care are practical foundations. Rapamycin, NMN and other longevity compounds belong in a separate research layer with species, endpoint, safety and uncertainty visible.
Use trends, not one-off scores
Weight, body and muscle condition, mobility and behavior become more informative when tracked consistently and discussed with the veterinary team.
